To comply with international high quality standards and also to enhance its existing service offerings, Xperien has now achieved BSI accreditation.
The certification confirms that Xperien operates a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the Collection and Disposal of IT assets and equipment.

BSI is the business standards company that helps organisations across the world to embed excellence into the way they work. That means showing businesses how to improve performance, reduce risk and achieve sustainable growth.

Xperien CEO Wale Arewa says proper accreditation means being assessed against internationally recognised standards. “We are proud to be BSI certified, it means we truly operate to the highest levels of quality and service. With more than a million organisations certified to it globally, ISO 9001 is the most widely recognised standard in the world.

“BSI is among the most respected and reputable management systems certification bodies in the world and accredited by around 20 local and international bodies. This accreditation reduces the risk to our customers and gives them complete confidence that we have been independently evaluated for our competence and performance capability,” he adds.

Arewa also points to the rapid increase in uncertified IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) providers and refurbishers. As the most highly established ITAD provider in South Africa with 19 years’ experience, Xperien has introduced an industry standard called Certified Refurbished System (CRS) to ensure refurbished systems are ISO certified and audited.

CRS products that have been through factory grade processes that are certified and audited by ISO 14001:2015, ISO9001:2015. They also offers a 12 – 24-month warranty on electronics so that customers can buy with piece of mind knowing that they have purchased from an accredited reseller with aftersales service.

“The CRS trademark offers a stamp of assurance and a promise to deliver quality, value for money and integrity in every product sold,” he concludes.
