ContinuitySA will be offering a five-day certification course for Lead Implementers of a Business Continuity Management System based on the ISO 22301 standard.
The course is certified by PECB, the global certification body.
To be held at ContinuitySA’s Midrand campus, the intensive five-day course will enable participants to obtain the skills needed to implement and manage a Business Continuity Management System based on ISO 22301, including best practices used to implement business continuity processes from ISO 22399. The 450-page course manual will include a wealth of information and practical insights.
The certification exam will be written on the final day of the course, and will entitle successful participants to apply for the credentials of a PECB-certified ISO 33201 Lead Implementer. Participation will also qualify for 31 Continuing Professional Development credits.
“Risk is everywhere in in today’s digital and hypercompetitive business environments–from cyber risk to supply chain and everything in between. Business resilience is thus becoming critical to corporate sustainability,” says Cindy Bodenstein, marketing manager at ContinuitySA. “Anybody who is building a career in the growing field of business continuity needs to be able to demonstrate his or her expertise in the global standards such as ISO 22301. For them, this course is a must.”
The course will run from 28 August to 1 September 2017, and the fee includes the cost of certification with the PECB.
